Manlift Displays a Teupen Leo 36T at the FM Expo 2010
Manlift recently exhibited their Teupen Leo 36T Spiderlift at the annual ‘Facilities Management Exhibition’ in Dubai. The Event took place in conjunction with ‘The Hotel Show’ (The Middle East’s Largest Hotel Show) from the 24th-26th May at the Dubai World Trade Centre Exhibition Halls in Dubai.
Manlift’s Teupen Spiderlift generated a large amount of interest at this year’s show mainly because the technology and reliability of the Leo range assure that they stay ahead of the competition. The unique design of the Leo 36T enables the machine to drive through a space the size of a double door and then deploy/unfold allowing two persons to access heights of up to 36metres. The machine operates on both electricity and diesel either on it’s 240V AC motor or Kubota Tier 3 Low emissions combustion engine. Great interest was shown by some of the GCC’s largest facilities management companies and by a large number of the region’s leading hotels and resorts.

Manlift Middle East has appointed Tom Andersen as General Manager of their Abu Dhabi Business.
Tom has made the transition from his previous role with Manlift Dubai as the Group Operations Manager and holds over 25 years experience in the generator and compressor industries. Norwegian by birth, he was employed for 20 years by Atlas Copco where he held several management positions both in Europe and Asia-Pacific. He has also worked in management roles for both Cummins Middle East and Comp Air Far East.
Tom remarked: “I’m extremely happy to make the transition into my new role. We’ve got a great team here in Abu Dhabi and demand for both our access platforms and generators is extremely strong. It’s a very exciting time for Manlift since we have just begun to sell generators and this opens up a whole new chapter for us.”

Teupen Dealership Awarded to Manlift Middle East
Manlift Middle East LLC has been appointed as the exclusive distributor for Teupen Access Platforms in the UAE. Teupen\'s largest Machine the Leo 50GTX can drive through a space the size of a double door when in transport position and yet extend to a height of 50m with a load of 400kg\'s in the basket at full extension.
New RT Crawlers in Manlift UAE Fleet
Manlift are the first company in the UAE to have rough terrain crawler booms within their rental fleet. The JLG 600SC has extra wide rubber crawlers (similar to tanks) to enable the machine to operate even on the softest of surfaces. Manlift’s crawler range has working heights up to 20m.
