The Credit Controller is responsible for managing credit policies, assessing customer creditworthiness, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts. 1. Credit Management<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

  • Oversee the credit control process to ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Assess the creditworthiness of new & existing customers by analysing financial data & payment history.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Set & review credit limits for customers, ensuring compliance with company policies.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Monitor & manage aged debt reports, taking proactive measures to mitigate risks.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n

    2. Debt Collection & Account Reconciliation<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

      \n
    • Follow up on overdue invoices through calls, emails, & meetings.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Negotiate payment plans & settlements with customers where necessary.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Liaise with legal teams or external agencies to handle escalated recovery cases.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Reconcile customer accounts & investigate discrepancies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Ensure accurate allocation of payments to invoices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n

      3. Compliance & Documentation<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

      • Ensure compliance with company credit policies & regulatory standards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Maintain detailed records of customer communications & payment agreements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n

        4. Collaboration<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

        • :Work closely with the sales & customer service teams to resolve disputes & maintain customer relationships.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Provide input on improving the credit management process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n

          Requirements<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n
          \n
            \n
          • Bachelor\u2019s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in credit control, with at least 2 years in a credit controller role.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Strong knowledge of credit management principles & relevant financial regulations.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Proficiency in financial software & tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel).\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Communication: Strong verbal & written communication skills for engaging with internal & external stakeholders.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Negotiation: Expertise in resolving disputes & negotiating payment terms effectively.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Analytical Thinking: Skill in analysing data & identifying trends to inform decision-making.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy in records & compliance with policies.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
