Our Sustainable Solutions
One of Manlift’s major customers wanted all-electric big booms, but there were only diesel booms on the market, so Manlift decided to introduce all-electric machines to its fleet.
Through this initiative, the Manlift team began to introduce all-electric machines and today, this includes the JLG 660SJ, 800AJ, the 860 SJ, 1200 SJP and the 1350 SJP, with working heights from 22 to 43 metres. And as the regulations on emissions have continued to tighten, the demand for the big booms has grown.
My Manlift
As part of our future digital innovation, we will implement an amazing customer online platform, My Manlift. Manlift can collect data on key metrics such as the percentage of diesel and electric machines on those projects, the amount of electricity and diesel they use, and the costs of that energy. This data enables contractors to see that they are saving money because the electric machines have much lower energy costs.
My Manlift will make data accessible because it is easy to create reports on KPIs like energy consumption. Users can even set up online ordering where the default choice is always an electric machine. Changing the mindset of the people ordering the machines in this way can make a huge difference
Manlift’s unique combination of data, customer collaboration and product innovation make the impossible now possible.
Augmented Reality (AR) - Manlift Rental App
Selecting the best aerial work platform for your job to be done at height is not a snap decision, and thus requires time and thoughtfulness. Manlift’s innovation expedites this process, allowing you to select a machine with confidence, and get it right the first time. The augmented reality feature is available in our Manlift Rental app, enabling the selection of a machine easily and then the ability to see it in your workspace with the tap of a finger.
The augmented reality feature can be found on the Manlift Rental app which is available on both iOS and Android devices. Using BIM (Business Information Modelling) files which have been modified to augmented reality files, allowing us to make sure that each machine has accurate dimensions when being displayed in augmented reality.
