Manlift India Private Limited is looking for a result oriented leader with strong commercial, influencing, communication and people management skills who is keen to be a part of an international growing business.

This role will be responsible to provide leadership, strategy and direction to achieve growth in the rental market, establishing the company as a market leader Tasks and responsibilities

  • Responsible to develop profitable and sustainable Commercial (Rental) activities in line with the Commercial strategy and budget in close cooperation with Country Manager.
  • Define the plans and activities in each quarter to achieve the annual targets (Rental Revenue and Collections) in close cooperation with the Country Manager.
  • Gather, analyze and anticipate customer needs and market developments and opportunities. Based on the market conditions, structure/amend the pricing and fleet planning in close cooperation with Country Manager.
  • Monitor the Commercial team’s performance based on the important KPI’s and targets.
  • Responsible for team development and Commercial process development (Coaching the team on sales fundamental, value proposition/value selling, ride along, territory management and customer management).
  • Responsible to build, manage and lead a strong commercial team.
  • Derive the metrics for Account Managers, monitor the progress, and evaluate the performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential customers and partners.
  • Manage key accounts, prepare quotes and process follow up; Develop and increase rental revenue from key accounts.
  • Maintain up to date commercial skills, market and product knowledge.
  • Closely work with the marketing department to agree on the necessary marketing tools and actions to support the commercial function. Also, to measure the VOC and action plans for improvement in close cooperation with country manager.
  • Prepare weekly reports on Rental pipeline, projects pipeline, lost orders and market opportunities to management.
  • Participate in improvement board meetings; contribute for the success of companies vision “To be the first choice for jobs done at height”.
  • Participate and attend meetings with Technical, Hire Desk and Credit Control dept for continuous improvement and achieve the desired target. Additionally, follow up payments and debtors with co-ordination with Credit Control Department.
  • Participate in fairs, trade shows and other relevant events.


  • Extensive knowledge of equipment rental market, with at least 10+ years of experience in rental sales and key account management with proven history of successful leadership
  • Higher education degree or work level
  • Ability to understand technical aspects of AWP
  • Strong commercial acumen; Must be a strategic thinker and a have strong negotiation skills
  • Strong command of English and excellent command of MS Office applications;
