Sales Support Specialist



Responsible to assist in sales activities in line with the Sales strategy and support the team with administrative related tasks associated with the sale of AWP (Aerial Work Platforms)

Direct report to Sales Manager, UAE

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Cold Calling to active customers / Maintaining client relationships
  • Responsible for maximising sales opportunities on both new and used access platforms, associated spare parts and annual maintenance contracts
  • Responsible for sourcing and developing client relationships and referrals
  • Management of documentations related to AWP sales
  • Management of sales calls/inquiries as needed
  • Supply chain management in coordination with logistics team for new machines (From receipt of LPO/payment to delivery)
  • Preparation of IPAF/AMC/Parts/Equipment repairs quotation
  • Preparation of equipment sales quotes as required
  • Payment follow ups/collection, includes LC process in coordination with Finance team
  • Invoicing - IPAF/AMC/Parts/Repairs/AWP
  • Management of breakdown calls/AMC scheduling in coordination with tech team
  • Inquiry/Data Logs - For AMC/Servicing/Parts Sales Inquiries
  • Manage, maintain and recording of sales data
  • Shipping/delivery documentation of AWP sales for local/overseas sales
  • Maintaining the company ISO qualification/standards (UAE & Qatar) as needed - involves internal audit, form updates, standards update
  • Follow up on payment collections from the customers
  • Data information for management report shared to the manager - Month end sales data gathering
  • Yard tour/machine demo during client visit in the absence of Sales team
  • Provide administrative support to sales team members, ensuring groundwork preparation for orders
  • TMW Sub-Champion for Sales
  • Provides assistance to IPAF team - quotes, planning and scheduling of trainings

  • 2+ years UAE working experience (industry experience advantageous but not essential)
  • Higher education degree
  • Knowledge and understanding of customer service
  • Commercial awareness
  • Export documentation procedures (includes customs/ RTA/ Makaza etc)
  • Basic knowledge on Shipping Inco terms
  • Basic knowledge on bank LC documents
  • Proven skills in administration and data management
  • Strong command of English and knowledge of an additional language is an asset
  • Excellent command of MS Office applications
  • Willing to travel as required. Role will cover Qatar (for ISO audits)
  • Must have UAE drivers licence
