Worldwide, nearly 80% of consumers want to be able to make a difference in saving the planet for future generations. By partnering with RECAPP, we wanted to provide our Manlift community with a solution to easily act in order to start making a difference, together. Recycling is an easy step forward!
In line with our Sustainable Development Goals and our target as an organisation in “Lifting Sustainability”, we have implemented RECAPP recycling bins in our Dubai and Abu Dhabi locations ensuring continuous recycling of our plastic bottles and metal can waste.
Working together with RECAPP we know that recycling:
- conserves resources by reducing the need to consume natural resources.
- saves more energy than that required for producing new products from raw materials.
- helps protect the environment by cutting down on CO2 emissions that result from extracting, refining and processing raw materials.
- reduces landfill by reducing the amount of waste sent to landfill.
Four commitment to sustainability is much more than just words. We have aligned our objectives with the industry-standard Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) giving us a framework to create a bold strategy and to measure its success. Our efforts with RECAPP are in line with the twelfth sustainable development goal – Responsible Consumption & Production.
We will continue to adapt and innovate our processes to ensure we continue with our goal of “Lifting Sustainability”.
