About the job
We are looking for a passionate and detail-driven Workshop Controller (PWR) to handle our
workshop operations and lead the technician teams, ensuring the smooth running of the workshop. In
this role, you will work closely with all our internal and external stakeholders.
Your role as a Workshop Controller
- Oversee day-to-day workshop operations and provide guidance to technicians as required.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the team to achieve their daily objectives.
- Distribute and control the issue of work to the technicians to maximise quality and overall efficiency
by pushing work through the workshop and managing the workflow. - Create parameters for job activities /“Standard Repair/Operating Time” for jobs to be done.
- Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all job card write-ups and incident reports for each
repair, including job completion status. - Assist management in implementing effective processes to achieve the highest possible customer
satisfaction levels. - Ensure proper testing, calibration, and quality checks on completed jobs.
- Diagnose faults and identify areas for continuous improvement.
- Maintain a strong relationship with the parts department to maximise parts availability.
- Adhere to the company’s HSE policy and maintain a safe working environment.

What do you have to offer us?
Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role in a power generator or heavy equipment environment.
- Experience working within a commercial workshop with strong technical knowledge.
- Proven background in people management with extensive knowledge of the operational running of a workshop.
- Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of an additional language is an asset.
- Valid Qatar driving license.
Education
- Degree or diploma in engineering, operations, or workflow management.
